Andres is proud of his Cuban heritage, as he grew up in a household in New York City where Spanish was the primary language. In law school, he was the president of the Hispanic Law Students Association, and since then, his interest in working with the Hispanic and Latino community has continued. He is a proud member of the HNBA, which is a national organization that represents the interests of Hispanic legal professionals.
