Even a misdemeanor conviction can have very serious consequences. A Denver man was charged with indecent exposure for changing his clothes in a park when no one was around (except for the park ranger who arrested him). If he pled guilty, he would have faced registration as a sex offender. I aggressively defended against these charges and he was acquitted at trial.
